Rat Room

This is my entry for the Brackey's Game Jam 2025! The theme was "Nothing Can Go Wrong". I decided to create a game where the player is trapped in a room with a rat and a button that launches all the worlds nukes. What could possibly go wrong!

Unfortunately I don't have time to fully finish the game before the deadline, meaning theres no sound effects + rushed art but I hope whoever plays it enjoys it nonetheless!

GOAL:

• Prevent the rat from pressing the nuke button by distracting it with cheese
• Keep an eye on your energy, otherwise you may pass out, and the rat will win!

INSTRUCTIONS:

• Move mouse to left or right sides of game window to move camera
• Click on cheese to pick up, then click on rat to distract if it is moving
• Restore energy bar by clicking the vending machine

Future Updates:

• Sound + music
• Redo art assets
• Fill out the room with more decor
• More interactions for distracting the rat
